Wobbly Teeth
Wednesday, September 29, 2010
Here's the last photo of her 'perfect' smile.
After a month of being wobbly, Helen loses her first tooth on the first Sunday in August. Its neighbor had been loose for more than two months and the other still fell out first.
Showing off her new gap.
Getting ready for her first visit from the tooth fairy.
And the fairy delivers!
The second tooth fell out just one week later - in Primary of all places. Luckily her teacher, Sister Whitley, helped her save it for the tooth fairy.
This week she noticed her top teeth starting to wobble. Hopefully the permanent teeth will grow in before it's time to start wishing "Merry Christmas!"
Meet Kaden
Thursday, May 27, 2010
On Tuesday, we met our new nephew/ cousin, Kaden Denzel Davis.
He was born last Friday, May 21st weighing 9 lbs 6 oz.
Helen holding her newest cousin. That girl loves to hold babies.
Kaden with his Oma. Now that girl loves to hold babies even more.
She is also the newborn bathing expert,
so we got a chance to witness Kaden's first bath (at home, that is).
Kaden's mom (my sister), Bridget, learning from the expert.
Post-bath: Kaden with his daddy, Evan.
For future updates on Li'l K and the Davis family, you can follow their blog: http://bridgetlynndavis.blogspot.com/[Dear Bridget, you may want to post some pictures on your blog now that I've told people you have one. LOL.]

Where's Wilford?

...playing at the park...
...planting our garden...
...playing/coaching soccer...
...getting our Jetta repaired...
...celebrating Mother's Day...
...picking strawberries...
[no, this is not Harrison; he didn't go to the strawberry patch,
but this cutie pie is about his age.]
...and enjoying our 9th anniversary (which is today, by the way)...
...when Ray came home for lunch, he said, 'take the rest of the day off.' [Even though he was going back to work and leaving me with the kids just the same as any other day.] So I've been editing photos and videos and uploading them online. We'll see how he feels about his little mandate when there's no dinner tonight [tee, hee, hee].
[Sorry we disappeared for so long. We'll try to do better.]

A Tale of Two Siblings
Thursday, April 1, 2010
I shared this little episode on Facebook a week or so ago; here's the quick re-telling for all of you not on Facebook.
Harrison comes up to me wanting candy from his Easter jar and, of course, Helen wants one too (even though she had eaten all of hers days ago).
I told her to ask him if he'd be willing to share, and Harrison says,
"Sho Helen, oo can haf won."
She starts to take hers and walk away, then turns abruptly and says,
"I don't think I deserve one," handing it back to me.
I said, "Why not?..."
She says, "I've been sneaking his candy all week."
